Episode 77: The Moving Creatures

The Moving Creatures

Three stories of motherly loss include a son whose secret is learned too late, a couple's reunion with a kidnapped child and an ailing sound engineer.

IMDb

While we did choose this movie randomly, Netflix recommended this one because we watched From One Second to the Next, a documentary we rated average (low for a documentary). The Moving Creatures is similar in that we are looking at a few short stories but there doesn't seem to be a lesson to learn. This film instead features long uncomfortable still shots and tragic stories of women suffering immense loss. It's boring and unnecessarily tragic. After we cry, we ramble about Chicago and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Next week, we're watching Sanctum
