Episode 78: 30 Days in September

30 Days in September

A traumatized woman plagued by the continued influence of her childhood sexual abuser cannot sustain a romantic relationship for more than 30 days.

We were supposed to be watching Sanctum this week but Netflix removed the movie days before we were able to watch so we rolled again and got a movie so obscure, I can't even link you to an IMDb page nor a Wikipedia entry. 30 Days in September is an Indian play that was filmed and put on Netflix just like Life of Riley that we watched on episode 36. It's about how rape apologists should probably just kill themselves and, spoilers, you're going to get your wish. If you can get over the fact that you're watching a play on your TV and all the bizarre direction choices that were made to accommodate this fact, 30 Days in September actually does a decent job which is why we've rated it with 2 stars and not negative 2 stars. I finally got a Nintendo Switch so you get to hear ramblings on some video games I've barely played. Next week, we're watching Mexican Gangster.
